About Me
Jessica Parisik is a DONA International trained labor and postpartum doula supporting women in Northern NJ. She also currently works at Integrative Obstetrics and Mindful Midwifery in Hackensack, Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
“My passion for birth started when I became pregnant with my daughter. I did hours of research (forums and google spirals and apps, as any woman of today will!) to make the best decisions for my body and for my baby. I grew a fascination for pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood, and how even though our world may evolve, all women are bonded in this journey. I have had the honor of serving as a doula for many different types of births, and each time I am amazed by the power of a mother in labor and the beauty of birth. There is no substitute for having another supportive woman with you, someone who has been through labor herself and who can help take some fear and uncertainty away during this incredible moment."
